President Bola Tinubu, in a powerful message to Nigerians, has called for unity, peace, and moral renewal as the Muslim community embarks on the sacred journey of Ramadan. In a Ramadan Tafsir held at the State House Mosque in Abuja, Tinubu emphasized the importance of forgiveness and compassion as central values during this holy month.
He highlighted that Ramadan is a time for spiritual reflection, encouraging a return to the principles that strengthen society. "We embrace the teachings of Ramadan, but the essence lies in doing good, sharing love and faith, and forgiving sins," he said. "If I have sinned, forgive me, as Nigerians."
The President further urged citizens to use this period to foster unity and perform acts of kindness that contribute to the nation's growth. He appealed to Nigerians of all faiths to unite in prayer for peace and support ongoing efforts to combat terrorism, banditry, and other security threats.
